Molten glass is poured into a metal mold whose interior surface is entirely covered in small pyramid-shaped tips. Glass is then etched, creating a three-dimensional rhomboid pattern on its surface. A technique used by VENINI in 2014 and then again in 2019 for its unique light creations.
