THE VENINI: Light 1921 – 1985 EXHIBITION PRESENTS THE LIGHTING PROJECTS OF THE HISTORIC FURNACE.

The magic of glass and its extraordinary workmanship are expressed in the Venini: Light 1921-1985 exhibition, curated by Marino Barovier and open to the public at LE STANZE DEL VETRO from 18th September 2022 to 8th January 2023.

On this not-to-be-missed retrospective, a Homage to Carlo Scarpa is displayed in the Carnelutti Room of the Giorgio Cini Foundation: a reconstruction, more of 5 meters high, of the monumental polychrome polyhedron chandelier, made by Venini master glassmakers, and designed by the architect for the Veneto pavilion at the “Italia 61” Turin exhibition in 1961.
