A TRIBUTE TO THE WORLD

A tribute to the world

Since it was established, the company has always stood out for the unique and skilful techniques used by its master glassblowers and for its ample array of colours. Key technical features that are further enhanced by the many collaborations with international artists and designers, which testify to the importance of the art and culture of glassblowing in the rest of the world.

The idea of the Museo VENINI (VENINI Museum) began to take shape in 2008, sparked by an urge to pay homage to the mastery and artistic path, as well as amazing historical archive of VENINI.

From ispiration to boundless reality

The Museum is a place of the future; it not only speaks of historical continuity, it illustrates a complete life cycle, marked by special moments and unique creations.
A place that goes beyond chronological description, it is a compelling, emotionally engaging journey that offers visitors the opportunity of choosing how to view it, each in their own personal way. A window on the world of VENINI and a place filled with emotions and feelings that breaks free from time and space.
Museo VENINI was established in 2009, along with Museo VENINI S.r.l., the company that is in charge of managing the cultural aspect of the business. It helps organize exhibitions and presentations as well as manage the company’s relationships with our most valued collectors.

THE VALUE OF MEMORY

The value of memory

Over 45,000 artist sketches. More than 10,000 vintage photos of past architectural installations and exhibitions, events and illustrious figures who collaborated with VENINI.

5,000 works, including a multitude of prototypes that have never been produced and a few extremely rare trial proofs. VENINI has lent them, together with the sketches, to some of the greatest museums in the world for exhibitions dedicated to the history of the company and of the art of Murano glassblowing.

These are the figures that make the Museo VENINI archives truly unique and priceless.
In 2011, VENINI celebrated its 90th anniversary with a unique traveling exhibition that toured internationally. For this project, Museo VENINI partnered with some of the greatest museums in the world, such as the Murano Glass Museum, Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana in Venice, the Shanghai Museum of Glass, and the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan.
