“Rhythm is not a simple lamp but a real lighting system.
The idea was born from the idea of creating a modular element that could be combined in various ways to generate exclusive and specific installations based on the setting and the function.
Then it was interpreted using the technique, typical of the Murano tradition, of blowing the glass inside metal structures, in order to make lanterns.
I M Lab has devised a form that can be reproduced and combined in various ways, each time creating unique configurations.
Alessandro Isola, Supriya Mankad
Designer
Supriya Mankad und Alessandro Isola absolvierten 2003 die Architectural Association in London und arbeiteten weiterhin mit dem berühmten Architekturbüro Foster + Partners zusammen, bevor sie 2008 ihr eigenes Unternehmen gründeten. Ihre Erfahrung reicht von Kleinmöbeln und Produktdesign bis hin zu Großbauten, von Planung bis zur Konzeption. Die beiden Architekten haben an vielen Projekten mitgewirkt und teilen eine gemeinsame Leidenschaft für die Erforschung der Beziehung zwischen Technik und Materialität, indem sie versuchten, die Grenzen sowohl bei der Entwicklung von Produkten als auch von Räumen zu überschreiten.
